Hi! I'm Hannah.

I am a clinical psychologist specializing in practical, evidence-based treatments for OCD, anxiety, trauma, and complex health conditions. When you're feeling overwhelmed by your thoughts or navigating major health changes, it's easy for old patterns to keep you stuck. Together, we will make sense of these struggles in the context of your life and build a clear, values-driven path forward.

Specialties: Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Panic & Phobias, PTSD & Trauma, Chronic Pain & Insomnia, and Reproductive Mental Health.

My approach to therapy is anchored in a Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) framework, with a heavy emphasis on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and the intersection between the mind and the body.

Together, we will explore the practical mechanics of your daily life and how you relate to your internal world. Rather than fighting uncomfortable internal experiences, our goal is to build psychological flexibility, learning to accept what is out of your control while committing to actions that enrich your life. While I rely on gold-standard, science-backed treatments, I don’t believe in a rigid, one-size-fits-all approach. First and foremost, I collaborate with you to ensure our work leaves plenty of room for flexibility, insight, and creativity.

I integrate proven, evidence-based frameworks to help you reach your specific goals:

  • To break anxious loops: I use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and ACT-based defusion strategies to help you face uncertainty, drop the struggle with anxious thoughts, and reduce compulsive behaviors

  • To process trauma: I implement structured, effective trauma protocols like Prolonged Exposure (PE), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET) depending on your needs. Together, we will work on processing past pain so it no longer dictates your present.

  • To manage mood and health concerns: I draw from traditional CBT and ACT to address the intersection between mind and body.

My path as a psychologist is built on a strong foundation of clinical science. In graduate school, I conducted research on anxiety, trauma, and OCD. While I very much value data and evidence, my passion has always been translating that research into practical, real-world healing

I honed my skills in treating severe anxiety and OCD within the intensive outpatient (IOP) and partial hospitalization (PHP) programs at Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital. I then completed my residency and postdoctoral training at the Atlanta VA Health Care System, diving deep into trauma recovery and behavioral medicine

I went on to serve there as a Staff Psychologist and the Health Psychology Team Lead, where I spearheaded chronic pain and reproductive health programming and trained psychology interns and postdoctoral residents. I remain deeply committed to the field through my work with the Georgia Psychological Association, ensuring my clients always benefit from the most effective, modern developments in clinical science.

As a therapist, I bring a grounded and collaborative energy to the room. I like to strike a balance between being active and focused, while allowing space for exploration and creativity. I firmly believe that therapy doesn't always have to be solemn to be profound; I welcome humor and levity in our sessions as a way to untangle complex emotions and build a genuine, human connection.

What you can expect from me is an unwavering investment in your success. I care deeply about my clients, and I want to see you thrive not just in therapy, but in every area of your life. Because your time and progress are what matter most, I am always willing to admit if a strategy isn't working, and if I ever realize I am not the absolute best fit for your unique needs, I will tell you directly. My priority is ensuring you get the exact care you need to get your life back.

Outside of the therapy room, you can usually find me at a library or a museum feeding my love for history and art. To that end, I'm in the middle of restoring my century-home, which means I spend my weekends practicing a lot of the radical acceptance I preach during the week.
